CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) ― The Wyoming Department of Corrections is unveiling a new mobile welding lab designed to teach inmates job skills they can use when they're released to society.

The department displayed its new mobile welding lab on Monday in Cheyenne. It has stations to teach welding skills to up to five students at once.

The mobile lab will be used to instruct inmates at three institutions on a rotating basis: the Wyoming Women's Center, the Wyoming State Penitentiary and the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution.
