The family of fatal boat crash victim Stephanie Beaudoin is responding angrily to the news that Erica Blizzard, the woman who was piloting the boat and was convicted of negligent homicide, is out on work release after serving just 35 days in jail. "My whole family is very outraged," said Beaudoin's sister, Suzanne Guarino of Litchfield. Blizzard was convicted on March 18 of negligent homicide in the 2008 crash into a ledge outcropping on Diamond Island on Lake Winnipesaukee. Beaudoin, 34, of Meredith died, while Blizzard, now 37, and another passenger, Nicole Shinopulos, of Burlington, Mass., were seriously injured. href="http://www.citizen.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100713/GJNEWS02/707139908/-1/CITNEWS"target="_new">Read More. |
