A Tahlequah man was sentenced Monday to prison after pleading no contest to first-degree manslaughter. Bobby Dean Huckaby, 55, was scheduled to go to trial Monday on a first-degree murder charge for the death of Terry Gene Seay. Seay, 50, of Tahlequah died after being stabbed in the throat in February 2009. District Judge Darrell Shepherd sentenced Huckaby to 45 years in the Department of Corrections with all but 25 years suspended. Read More. |
