UXBRIDGE, MA - A Massachusetts Corrections Officer found himself on the wrong side of the law Tuesday when he was arrested by local police for having child pornography on his computer. Steven Desmarais, 29, is a Mass. Corrections Officer At MCI Cedar Junction in Walpole, where he has been employed since 2007. Blackstone Police arrested Desmarais on Tuesday at his Blackstone home on child pornography charges after they found thirty pornographic images of underage children on his personal computer. Police said the children in the images are known on the national registry of Missing and Exploited Children. The District Attorney’s office in Worcester, MA said an investigation into Desmarais began after they received information through a cyber tip line about the suspect possessing and sharing child pornography.
