| Hunt Ends With Buglary Suspect Arrested |

Jul 16, 2010 (The Hutchinson News - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- A 40-year-old man suspected in six burglaries was arrested at 1 a.m. Thursday after he eluded officers for two days, hiding in a wooded area in northern Reno County. Before being taken into custody, however, Thomas Goin led sheriff's officers on a high-speed chase in northwest Hutchinson, according to Reno County Undersheriff Sheldon Stewart. The search by Reno County Sheriff's officers began Tuesday afternoon in the wooded area southwest of 95th and Lorraine, Sheriff Randy Henderson said. A resident who knew a burglary had occurred Sunday in the area had called 911 to report seeing an unknown man outside his residence. Read More. |
