(WLBT) - An inmate who escaped from a state work center last month has been captured by U.S. Marshals in Illinois. The Mississippi Department Of Corrections says Charles Ray Warren was taken back into custody Friday night. Warren faces felony escape charges when he is returned to Mississippi. The inmate was serving a five-year sentence for vehicle theft and malicious mischief in Hinds County. Warren escaped June 24th from a Simpson County work center. Read More. |
