| Man To Jail For Relations With 15 Year Old |

BANGOR, Maine -- A Brewer man was sentenced Tuesday at the Penobscot Judicial Center to three years in prison with all but nine months suspended for sexual abuse of a minor. Eddie Monroe, 42, also was sentenced to four years of probation and will be required to register as a sex offender. The charges stemmed from Monroe's relationship last year with a 15-year-old girl. In a plea agreement with the Penobscot County District Attorney's Office, Monroe pleaded guilty to two of the four counts he was indicted on in September by the Penobscot County grand jury.
