About 253 inmates staying in Morang District Prison have been affected by viral influenza, reports say. According to jailer Khagendra Giri, the viral influenza seen in ten inmates Sunday morning has spread to 253 persons by Monday evening. Other inmates staying at the district prison are also at the risk of contracting influenza as a large number of inmates have been placed in small space. There are 413 inmates in Morang prison. 11 police personnel deployed for the security of the prison have also contracted influenza. Read More. |
