Tracy - The uproar over the parole of suspected serial killer Loren Herzog is taking another turn. San Joaquin County Sheriff Steve Moore spent the day lobbying the State Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation on Wednesday. Herzog's parole has already been rejected by two counties and there's a growing movement to keep him out of San Joaquin County. According to spokesman Les Garcia, "The Sheriff is proactively looking at all the options that would keep Loren Herzog from coming into San Joaquin County." The father of murder victim Cyndi Vanderheiden has been the most vocal about the sudden change in parole. "I've even told several people to call their congressman and our representatives to tell em: 'We don't want him in this county! He's a serial killer!'" says John Vanderheiden. Read More. |
