ST. FRANCISVILLE — Two inmates who escaped from the West Feliciana Parish Detention Center earlier tonight have been captured, Sheriff J. Austin Daniel said. The inmates broke out of the jail, which is located a block off the main street that runs through the town’s historical district, at 7 p.m., Daniel said. The men were caught three hours later about a mile from the correctional facility near Commerce Street, the sheriff said. Read More. |
