| Ohio Prison Gets New Warden |

Ross Correctional Institution has a new warden at its helm. Earlier this month, Rob Jeffreys replaced outgoing warden Michael Sheets, who took a warden's position at Warren Correctional Institution near Lebanon. Jeffreys is the seventh warden assigned to RCI since its opening in 1987. Jeffreys began his career with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction as a research specialist in 1995. During his time with the department, Jeffreys has been a corrections program coordinator, social work supervisor and an administrative assistant. Jeffreys was the first deputy warden of operations at Toledo Correctional Institution in 2000, and in 2004, he was promoted for his first warden assignment at North Central Correctional Institution near Marion.
