The top trainer for the Vermont Department of Corrections is going to spend four to 18 months on probation after being convicted on charges stemming from a drunken driving case. Barry Mulcahy, 49, of Leicester reached a plea agreement on two misdemeanor charges Wednesday. In exchange, prosecutors dismissed a felony charge of impeding a police officer and a misdemeanor charge of simple assault on a police officer. Read More. |
