| DOC Helps City Understand Sex Offenders |

Fifteen Fergus Falls residents gathered on Wednesday night at a community education and notification meeting about two sex offenders who will soon be moving to the city. Most of the meeting was run by Michele Murphy, who works on education and notification meetings with the Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC). At the meeting, Murphy provided tips in spotting possible predatory sexual behavior, statistics on sex offenders in Minnesota and Fergus Falls and additional information about two men who will be moving to town. Dale Lee Brinklow, 40, will arrive in town on Friday. He will live on the 700 block of East Junius Avenue. He was convicted of second degree criminal sexual conduct in 1992 in Otter Tail County after he had sexual contact with a 10-year-old child multiple times. He also had sexual contact with other victims, male and female, ages 4 to 15. Brinklow knew all of his victims. Read More. |
