| Man On Work Release Program Ran Away |

Police are searching for a Bucks County inmate who escaped from a work release program on Wednesday, marking at least the second time he has walked away from the detainment center. Rodney McDonald, 30, of Quakertown, escaped from the Bucks County Department of Corrections' Men's Community Center on Almshouse Road in Doylestown Township. McDonald was at the facility around 3:30 p.m. for a urine test when he ran off, said Doylestown police Chief Stephen White. An officer spotted McDonald on Almshouse Road near Lower State Road and chased him through a wooded area near the Neshaminy Creek and Bittersweet Drive.
