Dr. Michael J. Dobish pleaded guilty Thursday in York County court to illegally dispensing prescription drugs and Medicaid fraud. In exchange for his plea, Dobish, 60, of Spring Garden Township, who voluntarily surrendered his medical license in April, was sentenced to three to six years in state prison. His plea agreement calls for him to serve a minimum of 27 months before being eligible for parole. He also was ordered to pay $73,787 in Medicaid restitution. Judge Thomas H. Kelley directed the state Department of Corrections, given Dobish's age, to "determine an appropriate facility" to incarcerate the doctor.
