| Warden's Association Gets New President |

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Colquitt County Correctional Institution Warden Billy Howell was named president of the Georgia Prison Wardens Association at the group’s 71st Annual Convention and Training Conference June 13-16 at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga. Outgoing President Carl Humphrey of Baldwin State Prison called the conference to order and was followed by an update given by Department of Corrections Commissioner Brian Owens. Each year at the Georgia Prison Wardens Association summer conference, the association recognizes professionals who have dedicated their careers to ensuring the integrity and vitality of the corrections profession, and those who have retired during the course of the year.
