U-S authorities release more prisoners from Abu Ghraib
By Associated Press
Published: 06/28/2004

Another group of prisoners has been released from Abu Ghraib (grayb) prison outside Baghdad, bringing the total number of inmates released to more than two-thousand over the last two months.
At least three buses were escorted from the facility by U-S Humvees today.
A military spokesman says the released prisoners had either served their time or were let go because of insufficient evidence.
Abu Ghraib has been at the center of the prisoner abuse scandal.
