INDIANAPOLIS (August 10, 2010) - The Indiana =epartment of Correction (IDOC) has hired Ronald J. Miller, Jr. as Chief Financial =fficer. He will be responsible for leading all financial and accounting =unctions of the Department. IDOC Commissioner =dwin G. Buss stated, “Ronald brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to =his position. I am confident he will serve the Department well as our Chief Financial Officer. We are glad to have him on our executive team and =ook forward to working with him in his new capacity.” Miller, 48, graduated in 1984 from Manchester =ollege with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of =usiness in 2008. He is a CPA licensed in the State of =ndiana. For the past year Mr. Miller has served as the CFO =f the Department of Waterworks for the City of Indianapolis. He has over =5 years of private sector experience in both financial and operational management =n the foodservice, manufacturing, and construction industries including eight =ears as Vice President of Crystal Food Services. He resides in Indianapolis with his wife Darlene, =nd college student sons Josh and Adam. |
