NORMAN — A Texas man has pleaded guilty in Cleveland County District Court to stealing a sport utility vehicle from a Norman residence in June and leading police on a 50-mile chase that ended in Davis, according to court records. Records show Ryan Roy Bennett, 33, of Flint, Texas, has pleaded guilty to eluding and larceny of automobile. He was sentenced to three years with the Department of Corrections for both crimes. His sentences will run concurrently, according to court papers. Bennett was given credit for time served. Events leading up to Bennett’s arrest unfolded about 2:10 a.m. June 19.
