A man was arrested in St. Helena after police say an investigation found he is suspected of assaulting a woman. St. Helena police received a report at 7:10 p.m. Monday that a man had beaten up his live-in girlfriend. Police contacted the alleged victim and went with her to her home on the 1200 block of Grayson to retrieve her belongings, police said.
