| Sex Offender Facing New Charges |

The mother of one of the alleged victims of a convicted sex offender was removed from the courtroom during the man's arraignment Thursday afternoon. Prosecutor Kim Marshall tried to calm the woman down in the hallway after German Baeza pleaded not guilty to the seven felonies with which he's charged. The woman cursed, cried and said her daughter will never be the same. Baeza is charged with forcible sodomy, kidnapping for sexual assault and sexual penetration against a 15-year-old girl, and assault with intent to commit rape, kidnapping and kidnapping to commit rape against a 14-year-old girl, Marshall said at an earlier court appearance.
