| Multiple Hit and Runs Lead To DUI Charges |

California Highway Patrol officers arrested one man near Point Reyes Sunday morning for driving under the influence after he left the scenes of several consecutive collisions, CHP said. Scott Lindner, 22, of Mill Valley was booked at 9:11 a.m. Sunday with felony charges of driving under the influence and driving under the influence with blood-alcohol content higher than .08 percent, according to a CHP report. The highway patrol received the initial call about the incident at 2:48 a.m., by which time Lindner was blocking one lane of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, according to the report. He had also already struck myriad objects and allegedly assaulted his passenger, an unidentified 20-year-old Mill Valley woman who was seated beside Lindner throughout almost the entire ordeal, CHP said. The incident began when the pair was leaving the Olema Campground off of state Highway 1 in Marin County. They were apparently having an argument, the CHP report said, and before they left the campground Lindner crashed his 2010 Honda Accord into a parked truck. This collision caused him to lose control of the vehicle and hit a metal pole that was part of a propane tank enclosure, CHP said.
