| Fight Breaks Out At Teen Prison |

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — Corrections officials are investigating a stabbing between two teenaged inmates at the Indian River Correctional Institute on Sunday night, according to the Department of Corrections. One inmate was hospitalized for his injuries, but was expected to return to the prison Monday, said Jo Ellyn Rackleff, department spokeswoman. The stabbing happened about 9:30 p.m. at the facility, in the 7600 block of 17th Street Southwest, she said. State officials would not release the names of the two inmates in the altercation and said the investigation was continuing. Read More. |
