DECATUR, AL (WAFF) - Decatur police are looking for 27-year-old Brenton Smith and 44-year-old Danny Moore. The Department of Corrections says the two are considered potentially armed and dangerous. Police say Smith and Moore, both work release inmates, escaped from the work release center on Highway 20 in Decatur around 9:30 Monday night. Decatur police say the pair kidnapped Gene Terrell from his driveway on Finley Drive Northwest and forced him to drive them to Muscle Shoals where police believe some of Smith's family lives. "I had the door open a guy grabbed my left hand pulled on me," said Terrell. "He's saying, 'give me the keys don't make me stick ya.' Thought it was a knife. Found out it was a screwdriver."
