| Indictment Filed Against Prison Officer For Child Porn |

SCRANTON - A correctional officer at the State Correctional Institution at Dallas was indicted today by a federal grand jury on child pornography charges. William Warman, 41, of Vaughn Street, Luzerne, is charged with receiving and distributing child pornography from June 2008 to May, according to the indictment. Warman was previously charged by the Luzerne County District Attorney's Office on May 28 after an investigation allegedly uncovered numerous videos and still photographs of minors engaged in sexual acts on computers in his home, according to arrest and court records. Investigators seized a "Spy Pen" digital video recorder from Warman's home. The camera's hard drive allegedly contained 10 videos showing two children in various stages of undress, and a video of Warman setting up the camera, according to the criminal complaint. Read More. |
