| Man Convicted in '89 Murder To Die In Oct. |

The Missouri Supreme Court on Thursday issued an execution warrant for Roderick Nunley, who was convicted with another man in the 1989 rape and murder of a Raytown teenager. Nunley is to die on Oct. 20. Nunley, 45, was convicted with Michael Taylor, 43, in May 1994 for the murder of Ann Harrison, 15, whom they abducted as she waited for a school bus. Anne’s mother, Janel Harrison, reacted to news of the execution warrant with hope — and skepticism. “We’ve been through this several times over 21 years, so I’ll believe it when I see it,” Harrison said.
