KALAMAZOO — The murder of Donnell Devon Berry deprives his four children of a father’s love, hugs and wisdom as they grow, their mothers told Darvion Vondae Bible as he was sentenced Monday. “We’ve lost our Superman … our best friend,” said Tecia Berry, Donnell Berry’s ex-wife and mother of his 4-year-old son. “We’ll never be able to see him or hug him or kiss him again.” Her son wakes up at night crying because he knows he’ll never again be able to talk to his father, she said.
