PRATTVILLE, Aug 25, 2010 (Montgomery Advertiser - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Autauga County Sheriff's Office investigators said a weekend arrest might clear up a rash of burglaries. James Madison Williams, 55, of 1392 Autauga County 21 North, faces charges of burglary and theft of property, sheriff's office reports show. He remained in the Autauga County Metro Jail on Tuesday afternoon under bonds totaling $15,000, jail records show. After his arrest Saturday, deputies discovered several thousand dollars worth of suspected stolen property at his home, Sheriff Herbie Johnson said. The items included 13 guns, electronics, jewelry, tools, archery equipment and even four cans of Vienna sausages and eight tins of sardines, reports show. Read More. |
