ORANGEVALE, CA - State corrections officers raided an Orangevale home looking for items that may help them solve how contraband has been introduced into New Folsom Prison.

Just before noon on Wednesday nearly a dozen California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation officers, with the help of California Highway Patrol officers and immigrations agents, went into a home in the 8400 block of Central Avenue.

Terri Thornton, a CDCR spokeswoman, later confirmed the contraband is narcotics, although rumors of cell phones were discussed.
