| Indictment Filed Against Soldier In DUI Case |

A Fort Campbell soldier has been indicted by the grand jury for severely injuring a woman when he drove head-on into her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and pills. Joseph C. Pergram, 25, is charged with DUI second, reckless endangerment, vehicular assault, two counts of aggravated assault and leaving the scene of an accident. On July 7, Pergram was driving his SUV on U.S. Highway 79 when he crossed the center line and hit the car of Lori Teague head-on, according to an arrest warrant by Highway Patrol Trooper Krystal Mathis.
