A man sought in last weekend's triple killing in Lewis County was arrested Wednesday evening in Spokane by members of the Eastern Washington Fugitive Task Force, the Lewis County sheriff said. John Allen Booth Jr., 31, of Onalaska, was arrested without incident at a home on West Gordon Street and was taken to the Spokane County Jail, Sheriff Steve Mansfield said. In a statement, Mansfield praised that he called "an incredible effort from local, state and federal agencies in gathering, tracking and acting on information" that led to the arrest. The subject of a statewide manhunt, Booth had been sought on a Lewis County Superior Court arrest warrant with bail set at $10 million. Authorities tracked him to Spokane on Saturday afternoon, but he eluded capture. Read More. |
