LEE COUNTY: The woman charged in one of the most horrific cases of child abuse in Lee County history entered a plea of no contest in court Monday. Rosemary Kunz pleaded no contest to aggravated child abuse of her stepson, Kaydin Mathisson. After her arrest in November 2008, Kunz told detectives she hit her stepson, tripped him, and knocked him unconscious. She went as far as to say she was "addicted to abusing him" and that she "liked to see him cry." Kaydin Mathisson was 2 years old when he was hospitalized.
