GEORGETOWN -- A Milton man has been arrested for his involvement in a Georgetown home invasion. At about 11:30 p.m. Friday, three or four suspects forced their way into the rear entrance of a home on Sand Hill Road, police said. Once inside, the suspects confronted three adults and three children. As they began making demands, the suspects were scared off by two pit bulls in the home. As one of the suspects retreated, he fired a shot from a hand gun, which narrowly missed one of the children, police said. Nearly all of the suspects go into a nearby car and fled, but Richard Cohen, 21, of Milton, didn't. Delaware State Police troopers found Cohen in a wooded area near the home a short time later. They also found a hand gun, but do not believe it was the one used in the home. Read More. |
