| Man Arrested For Stealing Fiance's Kids |

Kelso police early Tuesday morning arrested a man whom Longview police had been seeking since Friday morning after a woman claimed he drove off with her children. The three children, ages 8, 3 and 1, were found safe at a home in Kelso around noon Friday. Police arrested David Michael Aaron Baker, 22, a Longview native whose address on his driver's license is listed as Jonesboro, Ark. He was booked on suspicion of second-degree assault (domestic violence), felony harassment and use of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $100,250. He also had a no-bail Department of Corrections warrant and two misdemeanor warrants from Longview. The woman, 27, told Longview police that Baker was her fiance and not the father of the three children. She said all five of them drove to Walmart on Friday morning and that Baker drove off with the kids while she was inside purchasing a money order. Read More. |
