SYCAMORE – A man wanted in connection with a 2007 home invasion made his first appearance in court on the charges Tuesday. Bond has been set at $50,000 for Thomas E. Cobb, 25, of the first block of Park Avenue in Yorkville. Cobb faces charges of home invasion and aggravated battery in the incident on Russell Road in DeKalb. According to DeKalb Police Detective Steve Lekkas, Cobb’s brother, James Cobb, is already doing time in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the same home invasion. A third suspect, Anton Ayyad, was killed in a car accident earlier this year, Lekkas said. Read More. |
