CLINTON, Ill. (AP) ― A mother convicted of letting her three young children drown in a car that sank in a central Illinois lake has served her sentence. The Illinois Department of Corrections confirmed Thursday that 34-year-old Amanda Hamm has served her time under incarceration and parole. She has been discharged from the department's system. Hamm had been charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of 6-year-old Christopher Hamm, 3-year-old Austin Brown, and 23-month-old Kyleigh Hamm.
