LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - A manhunt is underway east of Laurel for a suspect who apparently violated his probation terms. A Department of Corrections stopped a vehicle with Smith County plates on Hwy 84 East near Magnolia Road Monday afternoon after spotting a suspect wanted for probation violations. The suspect fled into the woods while two remaining people in the car were detained for questioning. Read More. |
