| Sex Offender's New Actions Raise Questions |

The convicted sex offender accused of videotaping female high school students on at least three occasions since May 2008 has been released from the Eau Claire County Jail. Eau Claire County District Attorney Rich White has requested the Eau Claire Police Department conduct further investigation of Bruce E. Moores, who was arrested Friday for failing to register as a sex offender in Wisconsin and photographing minors without parental consent. White said Monday the investigation should be completed in a few days, and he hopes to make a decision on whether to file criminal charges against Moores, 49, by the end of the week. Moores was arrested earlier this month for videotaping high school volleyball players at a tournament at UW-Stout. He also is accused of taking video of female students at both Memorial and North high schools in May 2008 and last July, respectively.
