| Amish Man Sentenced For Sex Crimes |

Chester A. Mast, the 26-year-old Amish man accused of multiple sex crimes over the past decade, entered a guilty plea in Pike County court on Monday, Sept. 13. Mast was sentenced to 14 years in the Department of Corrections following his plea reversal. He pleaded guilty to two counts of statutory rape in the second degree and two counts of statutory sodomy in the second degree. All of the charges were class C felonies. He also received a four-year sentence to the charge of sexual misconduct involving a child, a class D felony. For the first four charges, Mast received seven years on each count but all but one will be served concurrent. The second count of statutory sodomy will be served consecutive to the other charges.
