| Man Fired From Carnival For Hiding Sex Offence |

Staff at the Salt Creek Valley Festival during the weekend fired a man who had been hired by carnival staff to work at a bounce house after learning the man was classified as a registered Tier III sex offender. According to a report from the Ross County Sheriff's office, festival organizers asked the man to leave the festival after he was seen taking video or photos of kids participating in the festival pageant Friday. According to the Ohio Attorney General's office, the man was charged with rape in 1992 and was convicted in 1993. The sex offender registry lists his victim as a female child. Read More. |
