| County Fighting To Keep Murderer Out |

LASSEN COUNTY -- Lassen County officials are fighting the plan to parole a convicted murderer there. It is the same man, Loren Herzog, who Tehama County wouldn't accept earlier this year. Lassen County Sheriff Steve Warren tells us Herzog "can't be here". Warren says, if nothing changes, the 44-year-old Herzog would be transferred to Susanville Friday and let go Saturday. Herzog has served 14 years of a 78-year sentence for involvement in four murders in San Joaquin County. Read More. |
