| Female Parolee Now Facing Murder Charges |

MUSKEGON COUNTY — An arrest warrant for felony murder was to be issued for a Muskegon Heights parolee suspected of involvement in the latest local homicide — the shooting early Aug. 23 of Jeremy Lewis Lawrence in a robbery outside the Heights Motel. Muskegon County Prosecutor Tony Tague said Tuesday afternoon that he would authorize a warrant charging Madge Ellen Matthews, 43, of 51 W. Summit with felony murder and being a fourth-time habitual offender. Tague said investigators believe Matthews by telephone set up the drug deal that brought Lawrence, 23, to the motel at 3300 Hoyt to be robbed. Read More. |
