| IN Teen Admits Trying To Kill |

A 15-year old boy charged with the attempted murder of a classmate admits in court he did it. An Allen County judge ruled Tuesday morning Derek Brown would face charges as a juvenile for the January stabbing of a senior classmate he claimed was bullying him at Concordia Lutheran High School. Now a freshman at Indiana University, the victim suffers face and hand paralysis. And although Brown was fourteen at the time of the attack, the prosecution had pushed for him to be tried as an adult. Shortly after the judge ruled Brown would remain in the juvenile system, Brown gave an admission of guilt to the most serious charge of attempted murder.
