The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a suspect on introduction of contraband charges into a local prison. As a result of a joint effort by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the State Inspectors with the Florida Department of Corrections, Mykia Sade McDuffy was taken into custody while visiting an inmate at Northwest Florida Reception Center in Greenhead, FL. Officers received information about the possible smuggling of narcotics into the prison. K-9 deputies were on scene and McDuffy was taken into custody shorting after arriving at the prison.
