SCHILLER PARK, Ill. (AP) - An Illinois state agency is hosting a 2-day summit about criminal justice practices and strategies nationwide that have been proven to work. The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority's summit is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. It's being held in the Chicago suburb of Schiller Park. Organizers have invited about 200 legislative leaders, policy makers and others who work in criminal justice and health and human services.
