| Troubled PA Prison Calls In Specialist |

Following several early prisoner releases at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility in Thornbury this summer, the private, for-profit management company hired to oversee the county-owned prison has brought in a corrections specialist to recommend some changes. Former Pennsylvania Department of Corrections Secretary Martin Horn will be evaluating the intake-and-release process at the facility, of which New Jersey-based Community Education Centers Inc. took over management operations in January 2009. “The former secretary’s extensive correctional management experience will prove invaluable as we move forward to identify additional changes and safeguards to those that have already been implemented,” said CEC Chairman and CEO John J.
