JUNEAU — A prison inmate has been found guilty of trying to kill two correctional officers with a claw hammer at the Fox Lake Correctional Institution in 2008. Before a packed courtroom filled with employees from the state Department of Corrections, special appointed Judge William McMonigal on Thursday found Terrance B. Davis, 52, guilty of attempted first-degree intentional homicide and a lesser charge of reckless endangerment. The verdicts followed a two-day court trial in Dodge County Circuit Court.
