The flashy entrepreneur who promised to restore a Park Forest theater exited just as he arrived - as a con man. At least that's what police say. Kenneth W. Arron, 48, of 515 S. Lombard Ave., Lombard, was charged Wednesday with felony forgery, felony state benefits fraud, driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured vehicle after a Monday morning traffic stop in Park Forest, police said. Cook County Circuit Judge Thomas J. Condon on Thursday set Arron's bail at $20,000 at the Markham courthouse. Arron posted bond, according to a Park Forest official, and is next due in court Oct. 18. The charges are just the latest for an Illinois man who has spent nearly half his life in prison, adopted new identities and schmoozed his way into jobs, social networks and business circles, records show.
