Inmate escapes from Ky. correctional facility |

An inmate of the Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington, Ky. has escaped. State Police are searching for 36-year-old Glen Phillips of Louisville who was serving 30 years for robbery and being a persistent felony offender. Phillips fled the complex Saturday night and State police say they believe he's headed for Louisville, although he also has eastern Kentucky connections. State Police are asking anyone with information of the whereabouts of Glen Phillips to call them at 1-800-222-5555 or contact your local law enforcement agency. Phillips is described as a black male, 6-foot-1, weighing 236 pounds with very short black hair. |
