| OK Man Gets Life For Gang Killing |

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A 31-year-old Tulsa man who's already spent time in prison now faces a life sentence in a July 2007 shooting death. A Tulsa County jury on Tuesday found Jeremy Finch guilty of first-degree murder in the death of 22-year-old Mark Williams in what prosecutors say was a gang-related killing. Finch's life sentence means he must serve more than 38 years in prison before being eligible for parole. The Tulsa World reports that jurors also convicted him on a charge of possessing a firearm as a felon and gave him a 10-year prison sentence on that count. Oklahoma Department of Corrections records indicate Finch also was convicted in 1999 of shooting with intent to kill. Read More. |
